May 12th. Very Special Pick Up day!

                                           May 12, 2012 Is A HEATED DAY!

On May 12, 2012 there will be some ridiculous heat dropping that day. There are about four pairs of kicks that are dropping that are very sought after. I'm only picking up two out of the four. The sneakers that are dropping are the Nike Zoom KD N7's in white and black which retails for $95, The Lebron 9 elite "taxi's" which retails for $250, The Nike Zoom kd "Aunt Pearls" dedicated to Kevin Durants aunt who passed away a couple of weeks ago due to breast cancer complications and it retails for $95, and the last sneaker is the Air Jordan retro 4 "Cavs". These sneakers were inspired by a game back in the day where jordan dropped numbers on the cavilers when they had there orange and blue jersey's and they retail for $160. The two sneakers I'm copping out of the four are the Kd "Aunt Pearls" & The Lebron 9 Elite "taxi's". The reason I'm copping them are because the vibrant colors that both these shoes bring to the table. At first I was a little on edge about paying $250.for Lebron shoe when Lebron's achievements don't match the price of his shoe. Not even jordans run for that much and that man is a living legend, But hey, if you want the sneaker bad enough you have to pay. I wouldn't dare before anything over retail for those. On the bright side though the kd's are only $95 and they are well worth every penny. So to end this off sneakerheads which sneaker will you be copping and are you going to double? or are there re sellers out there lurking? quick hint sneakerheads re sellers only make money if we pay there ridiculous prices so don't do it. Lol just go early am and wait in line saving yourself time and money trust me. Well that is all sneaker fiends. Iconickicks signing off.

Sneaker Con Event!

Hello, Sneaker Heads I've recently been watching videos on Youtube about Sneaker Con. It's basically an event when Sneaker Heads unite and bring dozens of pairs of heat and trade,sell, and show off there pairs off sneakers they think are heat. I love these videos because they show everything from clothes, to on feet heat from people at the event and they aslo show people giving shout outs to other fellow sneaker heads and that's what this all about love for the sneaker head community and everybody trying to appreciate sneakers and each other. So please enjoy the videos from Sneaker Con from two different states like NYC and DC. Release Dates For Easter Holiday!

On Friday April 6, 2012 we Have a great amount of heat coming your way. First, we have the "Nike Diamond Turf II" Varsity Red. These sneakers are a must cop for me this week and couldn't past on them if I wanted to Deion Sanders was one of my favorite football players coming up as a kid and I just have to support him. These sneakers Retail for $120 and may sell out very fast so make sure to get your pair early in the am on the release date! Second, we have "Nike Zoom kd Easter". These sneakers are very hot in my opinion, but I'm going to past on these. These sneakers Retail for about $95 bucks what a great price. Kevin Durant I respect you for your respect for peoples pockets. Third, we have the "Nike Lebron 9 Easter Low". These kicks are ridiculous they kind of change colors if the light hits them a certain way and there a must cop for sneaker heads out there, but i'm going to past because I got the Summit Lake Hornets on Saturday. These sneakers retail for $150. Fourth, and last but not least the "Nike zoom Kobe VII PDF Easter". These sneakers are sick and very different. These sneakers have the design of a poison dart frog and the way they put the shoe together was just outstanding. It's to bad I'm going to have to past on these because I just grabbed some Kobe 6 helicopters for below retail last friday. These retail for the Kobe's are $140 if you want these go to your locate mall or footlocker early in the am to get yours don't miss out! My Love for Air Jordans!

Hello fellow Bloggers, Sneaker Heads, and Friends. My love for Air Jordans comes from every which way. I First starting loving Jordans back when I was just a little kid. I was about 10 years old when I got my first pair of sneakers on Christmas. The sneakers where the Air Jordan 13 white black and varsity red in 1998. I can remember it like it was yesterday I opened the present so fast because of the way it was shaped I knew that it was a pair of some sort of sneakers. After that I was just so stunned and amazed to just have the sneakers in my possession I couldn't help but to try them on right there and then. There was a PROBLEM. A big problem both shoes were two different sizes. I was so exited I didn't even care I wore them on Christmas the day after that and the day after, but I never told my mom that they were to left feet and when she found out she was mad and never bought me Jordan's again. I still had the official MJ jersey and I always wore them to match my thirteens. That was one of my many experiences growing up and loving jordans. I still had bad experiences like my parents not being able to buy them or seeing my little cousin with a pair I wanted. I really was upset when I saw my little cousin playing in some Air Jordan white and varsity red 17's. I kept bugging my mom about buying them for me and she couldn't. I was to scared to ask my dad for something back then but that's another story. After that I just gave up on trying to get Jordans I couldn't bare with having to beg and not being old enough for a job to buy Jordans. So I waited until I thought I could get a pair again and that wasn't until I was in the 9th grade. I had to try to persuade my mom to buy me jordans for school. So i just did it I begged and begged and she gave in. She bought me a pair of Air Jordan 9.5's and I was so happy. The shoe was comfortable it was red and black and it matched my uniform so I was so happy. I was styling and comfortable at the same time. That really made me feel like I could really keep getting more and more until I didn't have any more space in my room. So I deiced in 10th grade to get another pair and I didn't even have to beg. I got a pair of Melo V.5's.This was really a hot shoe to me at the time and I had to have it. Another thing was I didn't have to ask my mom for the money because I payed with my money but moms always still try to control your money when its yours, But it didn't matter because I had the sneakers and I was happy, But there did come a time in life where I was blind, confused and thrown off. I came to a point where I thought Jordans were so called " Played Out" but I was the one that sold out on Jordan brand for two years. I started to buy stuff to just be in with the times and didn't think about what I really loved and that was jordans so I'm hereconfessing that I was immature,blind and stupid to ever give up on jordan. So now I'm back like I never left I love jordans so much. I've even expanded to love Lebron's, Foamposite One's, Kd zooms, Nike sb Dunks preferably the mids and last but not least Kobe's Haha, But seriously I love Sneakers not for anybody else. Not to keep up with the times. Not to impress anyone, but to just make me happy and to appreciate the art of Jordans and to realize how Jordan brand effected me so much for my love of sneakers to also introduce me to a new light of other brand of sneakers. This really pushed me to become a collector and give myself the title of a Sneaker Head. So to end this blog I want to say I love the sneaker game I will never retire and even if I do I'm going to pull an Micheal Jordan and come back like I never left.
